Do you know someone that is behind in their "utility bill" or other bills?

place for them to start getting help is at "Modest Needs".   http://www.modestneeds.org

When we were in a tough spot they were able to help us out.  "Modest Needs"  is a non profit
organization that helps people with their every day expenses that they are
behind in with the help of donations from LOTS of other people.

Why not look into this organization and possibly help with a donation today as
it may be you that needs help in the near future and could use help with a car, utility or some other  payment.

Here is a way you can help the organization to help our Gulf Coast Neighbors
without sending any money.  Modest Needs is currently currently competing
to win a $250,000.00 grant from Pepsi
.

The initial value of this grant is $250,000.00.  Modest Needs has the power - through matching - to turn the grant into half a million dollars.

This grant will allow "Modest Needs" to help thousands of "Gulf Coast" residents who stand to lose everything as a result of the "Gulf Oil spill" while they wait for long-term help to become available.  Without this grant, They will NOT have the funding to assist persons affected by this disaster.

If "Modest Needs" receive this grant, they will also receive massive marketing support from Pepsi.  This will allow us to help thousands of their 'regular' applicants that they otherwise would not have the funding to assist.

On 2 September 2010, Pepsi will award two $250,000.00 grants to the two grant proposals that have received the most votes via its website by midnight, 31 August 2010.

At present, "Modest Needs"  is ranked number 4 in this competition.  They MUST be ranked AT LEAST number 2 by 31 August 2010 to win the grant.

SOOO here's what you can do to help without any financial outlay on your part.

ALL of us – MUST vote for our proposal each and every day throughout August!  The direct link is http://gulf.refresheverything.com/gulfmodestneeds  If you want to see quick instructions on exactly how to make sure your vote counts for Modest Needs, they're at http://www.modestneeds.org/features/newsletter.  Voting costs nothing and is totally SPAM-free.

Remember, you CANNOT vote for (or even see) our proposal from a mobile phone.  Pepsi decided not to list its Gulf Coast grants on its mobile site.  You can vote from our proposal only from a desktop or laptop computer.

  • Use your social network to spread the word!  Post to FB, send a tweet, use your blog, do whatever you can to remind people to vote as often as you can.

Pass this information along to your friends, family and co-workers, and ask them to vote for our proposal as well.  A personal endorsement from you means more than you could ever know.

The following is contact info on Modest Needs Foundation so you will know this is NOT a scam but
a real place to go and get help when help is needed most.  Please pass this information on to others.
